Our AI-powered adaptive assessments in Maths, English, and Reasoning benchmark your child against UK independent school standards and the UK national average using a Standardised Age Score.
The outcomes enable us to create a personalised learning plan; boosting progress, enhancing entrance exam performance, and aligning with their chosen school’s requirements.
Standardised Age Score (SAS)
A Standardised Age Score is designed to give a fair picture of your child’s performance. Here’s how it works:
First, your child’s raw score is compared to thousands of children who took the same test.
Then, it’s adjusted for age, so a child born in August isn’t unfairly compared to a child born almost a year earlier.
The outcome is then a standardised score where 100 is the average, and the highest possible score is usually 141.
